I haven't made a proper post yet about my 18th birthday and it's been almost more than a month since it happened. It was a very nice night with my friends and some food. We ended u playing Cards Against humanity and Uno with some booze until 12 midnight. We even ended up in McDo just to play some card games. The band in the restaurant even dedicated a song for me which is "Tadhana". And yes, too much feels. I love being around my high school friends because it's always fun and light hearted. Here are some snaps from my birthday!
If you reach out for my little fingers
I wouldn’t mind
If you wanna dance in the rain together
I wouldn’t mind
If you wanna bite out of my cheeseburger
I wouldn’t mind
If you stay by my side forever
I wouldn’t mind
I wouldn’t mind if you
pull me into your open arms
I’ll open my heart
I wouldn’t mind if you
wanna bring your lips to mine
I wouldn’t mind if you
wanna stare into my eyes
I’ll never take yours off from mine
I know it’s you by my side
so I wouldn’t mind
If you wanna tell me how you’re feeling
I wouldn’t mind
If you don’t wanna talk about it
I wouldn’t mind
But you know, we should really talk about it
It’ll be alright
So please stay by my side forever
It’ll be alright
You can do anything you want
Just don’t hurt me

While waiting for my favorite bands to play, we went around High Street. We ate at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and BGC's Gastro Fest. We ate this giant pizza slice! I swear it was so big we can't finish it. We went around BGC just to look for dogs. Yes, dogs. There are always a lot of dogs in BGC!!! It's basically heaven.
Okay, back to Vinyl Day. It was really magical for me. What I love about music festivals or concerts is we are all there, different kinds of people from different background who enjoys music. We're brought together by this one amazing thing. We sing the lyrics, we have fun and we just enjoy. I love the band members' smiles and the look in their eyes when they look at the crowd and they see them singing and having fun. It feels so magical.
Last Saturday, I was able to watch The Script's concert here in Manila. It was all of a sudden because Friday night, I won this fan art contest by Manila Concert Scene. I was actually shocked that I won because I thought someone already won and my entry didn't stood a chance. Instead of worrying how I won, I just enjoyed the moment because I won two patron tickets!!!!! And that's quite a steal! I brought my friend Janina (who basically asked to join in the first place) and we had a fun night. Our seats were really close to the stage. Well, it was basically in front of the barricade so I can't complain how wonderful are seats were.
Stepped into a black hole yesterday
I was getting lost in Milky Way
I opened my eyes and then I saw your face
You opened your hand
and said we’ll find a way
That’s when you looked at the stars and told me
I wanna live in outer space
where all the rocket ships fly
to billions of places
The cosmos is calling out my name
I wanna live in outer space
where all of Saturn rings shine
like rainbows in ways
that the Northern Lights light like a flame
like how looking in your eyes keeps me sane
Planets keep on turning senselessly
While we all try to get rid of gravity
But as they’re wasting their time,
we find shelter in the stars
Both believing we can fly
to the moon and beyond
Grab a satellite string and pull me
